During the SMB Financial Strategies website refresh process, I was asked the following question:
What three words would your clients use to describe their relationship with you?
If I am being honest, I have to admit I couldn’t stop thinking about it. In my mind, I had an idea of what you might say or at least what I would want you to say but I couldn’t answer the question.
So I asked! Based on the inaugural 2020 SMB Client Survey, the top three adjectives clients used to describe their relationship with me were:
- Knowledgeable
- Competent
- Helpful
This is a word cloud of all the responses - it literally and figuratively fills my heart with joy!
A sincere thank you to those who took the time to complete the survey – it truly means a lot to me. As promised, below is a summary of responses:
- 91.7% gave a rating of 5 for: I am satisfied with the overall service I am provided by my Financial Advisor.
- 97.2% gave a rating of 5 for: My Financial Advisor understands and addresses my needs.
- 100% gave a rating of 5 for: My Financial Advisor follows up on my calls and inquiries in a timely manner.
What are some additional services you would like to see me offer?
Most responded “nothing at this time,” but my favorite response is “Whatever it is – I’m in.”
Other great suggestions included:
- 1-1 Coaching
- Tax advice
- Healthcare Advice
Based on the feedback, where I missed the mark this year was staying consistent with the scheduling of semi-annual meetings. A few of you expressed that the meetings help to keep you on track. I 100% take accountability for the lapse in client service but want you to know that you can reach out to me at any time if you have questions, want to discuss your strategy, or simply provide an update on what is happening in your life.
I am now utilizing an online meeting scheduling tool, so you can schedule a call or Zoom video conference with a click of a button – no more emailing back and forth! You can access my calendar here. For your convenience, this link can also be found in the footer of my email (“Book Appointment” button) and on the SMB Financial Strategies website by clicking on the “Let’s Talk” button.
Communication is important to me. Please refer to this How to Stay In Touch piece to learn about the different channels I use to communicate with you. As a self-proclaimed student of the business, I am constantly looking to evolve. Please let me know if you have any feedback on ways I can improve my service to you.
